1.1: Premium Plans, Playlists & a Faster Bot
Beatkit Premium now comes in three plans, Pro members can run their own branded music bots, and there's a lot new for everyone: your own playlists, Spotify and Last.fm, and music that starts in a couple of seconds.
Three plans
- Lite ($2.99/month): unlimited songs, 24/7 mode, autoplay, the full filter set, auto shuffle and a custom default volume.
- Pro ($4.99/month): everything in Lite, plus AI playlists with
/vibeand 1 custom bot. - Pro + ($6.99/month): everything in Pro, plus 2 custom bots, priority support and a direct line to the developers.
Already had Premium? Your server is now on Pro - nothing to do.
Your own bot
Run Beatkit under your own name, avatar, status and embed colour. Set it up on the Personalize Bot page, invite it to your Premium servers, and it plays right alongside Beatkit.
Your own playlists
/playlistopens your playlists (only you see it): make one, add songs by name or link, add the song that's playing, remove songs, rename or delete./savequeuesaves what's playing and everything queued as a playlist./playplaylistplays one of your playlists.
Playlists belong to you, not the server, so they work everywhere Beatkit is. Free accounts get 1 playlist of up to 25 songs; Lite gets 5 playlists, Pro 10 and Pro + 25, with no song limit.
Spotify and Last.fm
- Spotify: link your Spotify on your profile and save the playlists you want there, then play them with
/myplaylists. - Last.fm: link it on your profile and everything you listen to with Beatkit is scrobbled.
- Spotify playlist and album links in
/playwork reliably again.
Faster and smarter
- Music starts in a couple of seconds. Beatkit joins your voice channel while it finds the song, and a Spotify playlist or album starts with its first song while the rest are added.
- Better matches: Beatkit picks the upload that's the same length as the song, rather than a music video with a long intro.
- Fewer skipped songs: if a video won't play, Beatkit tries another upload of the same song first.
Now playing, right in the channel
While music plays, your voice channel shows the song under its name. New invites include the permission for it. For servers that already have Beatkit, turn on Set Voice Channel Status for the Beatkit role.
Free servers
Beatkit is still free to add and use. Free servers can play 25 songs a day, and up to 25 songs from any one playlist. Premium servers have no limit.
Changing plans
Change your plan on Patreon and your server follows it automatically within about 10 minutes - or run /premium in your server to upgrade straight away. The Premium guide covers every step.
